The International Women’s Day Committee invites members of the La Crosse community and beyond to a celebration of International Women’s Day. on Tuesday, March 3rd from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm CT.
The celebration will consist of a panel discussion with a special emphasis on forging gender equality through collaboration and abundant giving. Panelists will include Assem Izmukhanova representing Kazakhstan, Ngozi Nduka representing Nigeria, and Lisbeth Reynertson, representing Denmark. After the panelists speak, time will be set aside for questions from the audience.

Our civic engagement coalition is proposing an event to encourage voter interest and participation in the April La Crosse County Board races, and give La Crosse County voters the opportunity to meet their supervisory district candidate(s) and learn about their views on local issues.

We will again be hosting a cordial, nonpartisan conversation with our state and national representatives, who are invited to share legislative updates on key issues. Join your fellow LWVLA members in-person or join us via a Zoom for this year‘s Legislative Breakfast. The morning includes a moderated Q&A which gives League members - as interested constituents - the opportunity to voice questions or suggestions.
