I am reaching out as the Commissioner from the 3rd Congressional District of the People’s Maps Commission. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on redistricting in Wisconsin. As some of our most engaged residents, your input is integral to ensure the maps that are eventually produced and voted on are fair and impartial.
I’d like to invite you to a special Train the Trainer event with the MGGG Redistricting Lab. On April 27 at 6:00 pm CT. At this training, you will learn how to submit maps using the Districtr software. The People’s Maps Commission partners with MGGG Redistricting Lab to compute maps.
You can sign up to attend the training here, and once you do, find three friends, neighbors, or members of your community to join, too! Remember, submitting maps and Communities of Interest is the best way to ensure your community is represented in the State Legislature.
As a commission, we have been and will continue to prioritize transparency throughout the map drawing process. If you have any questions for the Commission, or would like to share your ideas, we will continue to accept public comment
