Voter Services Committee

The Voter Services Committee provides services to inform and empower citizens to participate in the election process. The committee offers services to both educate and engage the electorate:

Provides trained, qualified, and unbiased speakers and other staff for candidate forums and Pro/Con presentations.
Distributes voter information and promotes voter registration with a focus on underrepresented groups.
Engages all in activities that Get Out the Vote (GOTV).
Educates on changes to our voting systems.

Directions for using the volunteer signup module:

1) Login as a member.

2) Click the highlighted signup for your event.

3) After registering yourself, select:

—"I'm done adding volunteers;"
—Review.
—Complete and Save.

You will immediately receive a confirmation email.

2026 Hmoob New Year

La Crosse Hmoob New Year is a celebration of the Hmoob Culture through ceremony, dance, sports, food and community fellowship. This two-day event is open to all.

Once again, volunteers from our League will be assisting with voter education and registration at Hmoob New Year.

This beautiful cultural event takes place annually at Veteran’s Memorial Park. People from all over will be wearing their traditional Hmoob costumes and celebrating with ceremonies, entertainment, sports tournaments, and food.

We will need two volunteers in each of five 1 1/2-hour shifts
on Saturday, September 19.

November 3 Fall Election
Fridays and Mondays from September 25 to October 12.
September 25, 28. October 2, 5 and 9, 12.

Leading up to the November 3 Fall Election, volunteers from our League will be assisting
with voter registration at the DMV La Crosse Area Service Center.

We will need two volunteers in each of four shifts
on Fridays and Mondays from September 25 to October 12.

The following Mondays and Fridays that we will be at the DMV are
September 27 and 28; October 2 and 5, October 9 and 12.

We are encouraging new volunteers
to sign up with someone who is experienced.

Our focus will be on assisting with voter registration.
