*You are not allowed to return another voter's ballot regardless of relationship. The only exceptions to this is if you are returning a ballot on behalf of a voter who requires assistance due to a disability or for a hospitalized elector who has appointed an agent.

Catch a Free Bus Ride on Election Day

LA CROSSE, WI — The City of La Crosse Municipal Transit (MTU) will offer free service on all routes on Election Day, August 11.
“Everyone is welcome to ride the bus all day long,” said MTU Director Adam Lorentz. “Regardless of your route, we will help you get to your polling place.”

Voting is one of the most important ways for us to stay civically engaged! We want to make sure you feel prepared to cast your ballot with confidence. Find the resources you need below to be an informed voter:
  • Visit VOTE411.org to find your personalized voter guide! Learn about the candidates on the ballot.
  •  Visit myvote.wi.gov to register, request your absentee ballot, track your ballot, and more!
  • Use the LWVWI Voter Education Ambassador Toolkit for important deadlines, social media resources, and more.
  •  Our local League has a great resource page on elections. Find it HERE
  • Help spread the word. Encourage friends and family to get out the vote!

Wisconsin voters will see a constitutional amendment on the November 3, 2026 ballot that could have significant impacts on public education, employment, contracting, and government programs across the state. While the ballot language references discrimination and preferential treatment, the proposed amendment would also limit the use of certain equity-focused policies and programs.
Before you vote, take time to understand what's on your ballot and how this amendment could affect Wisconsin communities.
