This debate, scheduled for July 28 at 7 pm, will be moderated by WISN 12's Gerron Jordon and Matt Smith, and take place in the Weasler Auditorium on the Marquette University campus. It will not have a live audience.
The debate will be broadcast on WISN-TV Channel 12 and livestreamed on wisn.com. Our local station, WXOW 19 News, is planning to air it.
Missy Hughes suspended her candidacy on June 21st.  Her statement about her decision can be found in the  Wisconsin Examiner 6.22.26 .
David Crowley suspended his candidacy on July 7th, but has reentered the race since Sara Rodriguez has now dropped out. Read more at this link  Wiscosin Examiner 7.20.26   
Sara Rodriguez suspended her candidacy on July 17, after vowing to stay in the race at the beginning of the week.

Wisconsin voters will see a constitutional amendment on the November 3, 2026 ballot that could have significant impacts on public education, employment, contracting, and government programs across the state. While the ballot language references discrimination and preferential treatment, the proposed amendment would also limit the use of certain equity-focused policies and programs.
Before you vote, take time to understand what's on your ballot and how this amendment could affect Wisconsin communities.
