We nominated Chris in recognition of her tireless League work to expand voter access and civic education across the La Crosse area —reaching students, marginalized groups, and incarcerated individuals. Chris brings integrity, compassion, and deep community connection to everything she does. Her dedication to our mission has made LWV a trusted civic partner and inspires so many to engage in our democracy. We should all feel a sense of pride as the YWCA honors one of our own and shines a light on the important work we do.


Chris will be receiving her award alongside other 2025 honorees at the Tribute to Outstanding Women dinner on Thursday, November 6, from 5:30–9:00 p.m., at The Court Above Main, 420 Main Street, La Crosse, WI.
