Over 100 area candidates for mayor, city council, village, town and school board races were invited to participate in the VOTE411.org voter guide. Statewide and judicial candidates for Supreme Court, Superintendent of Public Instruction, Court of Appeals and Circuit Court were also contacted. Any statewide and La Crosse County referendum questions are listed in the guide.
All candidates are given the opportunity to respond to questions posed by the League. Their submitted answers are published verbatim. If a candidate does not respond, the guide shows their name and "The candidate has not yet responded" in the question/answer section. For voters, "Find What's on Your Ballot" is the box to click for candidate searches at VOTE411.org.
“An informed voter is a powerful voter. The online VOTE411 is a 'one-stop shop' for personalized election and nonpartisan candidate information," said Deb Lutjen, voter guide team coordinator for LWV La Crosse.
Additionally, any recordings of area candidate forums are gathered and available for the public at lwvlacrosse.org/elections2025.
