Candidate Questionnaires: All the La Crosse School Board candidate Q&A by question

Six candidates are running for La Crosse School Board. Voters in the La Crosse School District will pick three of the six on their ballot. Early voting has already started for the spring election that ends April 7.

We’ve interviewed each of the candidates, and their answers individually can be found on the WIZM school board election page.

Below are the candidates’ combined answers by each question.

The La Crosse Tribune sent a questionnaire requesting all competing local candidates in the April 7 Spring Election. They were asked to reply with a short bio and answers to three open response questions. All of the elections are nonpartisan.

Wisconsin voters will elect a new Supreme Court Justice on April 7, 2026, for a 10-year term.

Two candidates have announced they are running for election:
Chris Taylor, Judge of the Court of Appeals, District IV - Madison; and
Maria Lazar, Judge of the Court of Appeals, District I|- Waukesha.

Join the League of Women Voters-Greater Chippewa Valley, the Menard Center for the Study of Institutions & Innovation at UW-Stout; Community Conversations of Northwest Wisconsin; and League of Women Voters-St. Croix Valley chapter for in-person interviews with Judge Taylor on December 6 and with Judge Lazar on February 4*.

Top Democratic candidates for governor coming together in Milwaukee
for the first candidate forum of 2026.

Main Street Action hosted the event at The Cooperage in Milwaukee on Wednesday, Jan. 21. It featured seven candidates:
