Friday, June 18, 2010	1-3:00pm	Riverside Park	Mississippi Explorer River Cruise. Join us for a special river cruise prior to the meetings! ==> Contact LWVWI (608-256-0827) or include on your Annual Meeting Registration Form to reserve a seat - friends and family are welcome too. Booming sawmills, fur trading, and boat building, made La Crosse once one of the busiest steamboat ports on the Mississippi River. Today, it remains a great place to take a riverboat cruise into the scenic Wildlife Refuge! Carry-on's of food and drinks are allowed and welcomed during all of our cruises. We also permit coolers to be carried on, but we ask that you keep them on the small side. We are located on at the south end of Riverside Park and there is ample free parking throughout the area.

Friday, June 18, 2010	6-8:00pm	Myrick-Hixon EcoPark	Social Reception, co-sponsored by LWV La Crosse Area. Join us at the new Myrick-Hixon EcoPark located on the edge of the La Crosse River Marsh for an enjoyable evening of socializing with friends. If you would like to take a short hike, bring your walking shoes - we will be right on the path through the marsh and the sun will not go down until after 9! Directions - park is located on La Crosse Street, across the street from UW-La Crosse, about 1/4 from the intersection of Losey Blvd and La Crosse Street. (If coming from out of town, follow Highway 16 into La Crosse, or if coming from the Radisson, follow 2nd Street north, turn right onto La Crosse Street and continue about a mile to the park.)

Key Note Speakers, workshops, and 2 plenary sessions will be held at the Health Science Center in La Crosse and also broadcast to a site at UW-Oshkosh Reeve Memorial Union.
